Sibéri

Sibéri is a French artist based in Berlin, Germany. Born and raised in the South of France, near Marseille, Sibéri's musical journey began after spending a year in Siberia. He then entered the Printemps de Bourges program for emerging artists in France, and began collaborating with notable producers such as Victor Tricard (Big Dada), Laake (Mercury), Nelson of the East (Tartelet), and Wayne Snow (Roche Musique).

Since then, Sibéri has taken his unique blend of electronic, psychedelic, and indie-soul across the  continent, performing in Germany, France, Portugal, Russia, Iceland, and the UK. He's played at a variety of venues, from large festivals like the Marsatac Festival in France, to smaller, alternative venues such as Loophole, Madame Claude, and Marie Antoinette in Berlin.

Sibéri's music blurs the boundaries between traditional instruments and warm electronic sounds, incorporating elements from his travels and artifacts from the past. He finds inspiration in Indonesian Gamelan (which he also plays as a member of the Berlin Gamelan Orchestra) and family recordings made by his grandfather infusing his music with a deeper sense of heritage and meaning. His singles have topped Beatport charts and garnered hundreds of thousands of streams.

As a self-taught musician, Sibéri brings a mastery of multiple instruments to the stage, including synthesizers, guitar, voice, loopers, and samplers. He sings in multiple languages, conveying intimacy, groove, depth and energy exchanges with the audience.

With his unique blend of French music and international influences, Sibéri’s music is a celebration of the past, present, and future all at once.
